Parsons Appoints Kenneth Murray North America West Division Manager for Industrial Business Unit

Murray has nearly 30 years of experience in engineering, procurement and construction business

Parsons announced that Kenneth J. “Ken” Murray, senior vice president, has been appointed North America West Division Manager for its Industrial business unit (BU). In his new role, Murray will be responsible for the Industrial BU’s sales and operations in Western North America.

“Ken’s expertise in financial management and operations continues to be an asset to Parsons, and I’m pleased he’s agreed to take on this pivotal role in the Industrial business unit,” said Mike Walsh, Parsons Group President.

Murray joined Parsons in 2015 and has nearly 30 years of experience in the engineering, procurement and construction business in areas including operations management, business development and project management. Most recently, he was responsible for partnering with division and regional managers within the Environment & Infrastructure group (now known as Industrial) to formalize and execute Parsons’ growth strategy. Prior to joining Parsons, he was the Vice President of Operations for the Canadian division of a large global firm specializing in design, engineering and construction services. While there, he was responsible for developing high-level business relationships with major oil and gas customers and managing the delivery of their projects.

Murray holds a master’s in business administration from the University of Calgary in Canada and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the Memorial University of Newfoundland in Canada. He is a professional engineer registered in the Province of Alberta with the Assn. of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta.
