IBWA Welcomes New Manager of Communications

The International Bottled Water Association (IBWA) announced that V. Tom Gardner has joined the association as manager of communications. His primary duties include media relations, IBWA website management and general communications activities to support members, staff and IBWA initiatives.

Gardner comes to IBWA from Nahigian Strategies, LLC, a public relations firm where he served as a senior associate on such initiatives as the Medicare Bus Tour for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and the 2005 President’s Dinner, a fundraiser for the National Republican Senatorial Committee and the National Republican Congressional Committee.

Prior to that, Gardner was the communications director for the Council for Affordable Health Insurance where he served as spokesperson and primary media contact. He has a Masters of Arts degree from the George Washington University’s Graduate School of Political Management and a Bachelor of Science degree from Santa Clara University.
