Groupe Laperriere & Verreault, Inc. Acquires Environmental Equipment & Systems Inc.

A subsidary of Groupe Laperriere & Verreault, Inc., GL&V/Dorr-Oliver, Inc., acquired the assets of Environmental Equipment & Systems, Inc., a designer of process equipment and systems for wastewater treatment targeted to various industrial markets and large municipalities in the United States.

GL&V, a designer and manufacturer of engineered proprietary equipment for pulp and paper and other industries, will receive up to $3 million (Canadian) in revenues annually with the integration.

"With the acquisition of Environmental Equipment & Systems, Inc., GL&V is integrating a high potential engineering company, a leading-edge wastewater treatment technology, a comprehensive line of equipment used by an important client base in the United States, and highly skilled, experienced human resources," said Laurent Verreault, President and Chief Executive Officer of GL&V.
