Columbus Water Works Recognized at WEFTEC.04

The Columbus Water Works is being recognized by the Water Environment Federation at WEFTEC.04 for its efforts in making education a top priority.

WEF will award its Public Education Award to Columbus Water Works during ceremonies held Oct. 5 in New Orleans.

The Columbus Water Works shares knowledge of water treatment, conservation and protection with the community including schools and businesses in and around the county and state.

WEF's Public Education Award recognizes significant accomplishments in promoting awareness and understanding of the water enviornment issues among the general public, through the development and implementation of public education programs.
