Grit & Grease Removal

This grit and grease removal system consists of a rectangular concrete channel with two parallel chambers. The rectangular design provides efficient removal over a wide range of flows. One chamber is for the settling of grit and the other floats grease to the surface for removal. In the grit channel coarse bubble diffusers create a continuous and adjustable roll. In the grease channel, floatables are continuously transported to the end of the channel by an air/water-skimming system.
