Godwin Pumps Expands, Appoints Latin America Regional Manager

Tomás Fernández comes to Godwin with more than 13 years of experience

Godwin Pumps, the largest manufacturer of portable rental pumps in the United States, recently expanded its global distribution network into Latin America.

As part of its growth strategy, Godwin appointed Tomás Fernández as its Latin America Regional Manager. With more than 13 years of experience at Ingersoll Rand in distribution development and establishing distributor channels in Latin America, Fernández has responsibility for growing Godwin’s prominence in Latin America.

“The addition of Tomás to our team represents the culmination of an exhaustive search for a leader with the experience and initiative to grow our presence through distribution channels in this exploding market,” Godwin President John Paz said.

Fernández holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Florida International University and an MBA and Master of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Miami.

Fluent in Spanish, Portuguese and English, Fernández will be the upcoming CONEXPO/CON-AGG show in the Las Vegas Convention Center this March.
