Hatch Mott MacDonald (HMM) has announced that Patrick Natale will join the company as vice president – business strategies, beginning January 2015. In this position, Natale will support HMM’s marketing and business development initiatives, as well as the company’s employee recruitment and retention programs.
Natale brings 44 years of engineering, management and business experience to HMM. He served as the executive director of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) for 12 years, from 2002 to 2014. Natale was responsible for the day-to-day management of ASCE. He provided executive leadership to the staff and active volunteer workforce.
Prior to joining ASCE, Natale served in the same role at the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE), a national organization representing licensed engineers from all technical disciplines. During his 28-year career at PSE&G, he was responsible for managing sales, marketing, strategic planning, and customer service. His final assignment at PSE&G was to lead the corporate effort to develop the process and systems required for implementing energy deregulation in New Jersey.
“We are delighted to welcome Patrick Natale to Hatch Mott MacDonald,” said Nicholas DeNichilo, President and CEO of HMM. “His contribution will be invaluable as we continue to grow our business.”
Earlier this year, Natale was elected to the National Academy of Construction, and was honored by the Council of Engineering and Scientific Society Executives with the A.F.
