Irish Towns Upgrade Treatment Plants

De Nora signs contracts to install TETRA ANCHOR-Rite LP Blocks at facilities

De Nora signed two new contracts in Ireland. Installation of TETRA ANCHOR-RITE LP Blocks follow recent installations at Leixlip, Kerry and North Roscommon, Ireland.

Coffey Water Ltd. chose De Nora TETRA ANCHOR-RITE LP Blocks as its product of choice at two water treatment plants, one under construction at Owenteskna, Ireland, and the other an existing facility at Kilkit, Ireland, which is undergoing a €4.5 million upgrade.

In municipal drinking water applications or pre-treatment for desalination plants using gravity filters, the filter underdrain is one of the most important components contributing to overall system performance and operation, whether a new filter design or retrofitting an existing filter.

Incorporating the patented ANCHOR-RITE and GroutGrip technologies, De Nora LP Blocks are not only effective as a filter underdrain, but also offer superior distribution of both backwash air and water, either sequentially or concurrently.

TETRA ANCHOR-RITE LP Blocks are lightweight and resistant to uplift.
