Sensaphone will showcase an expanded monitoring solutions portfolio at the 87th Annual Water Environment Federation Technical Exhibition and Conference (WEFTEC 2014) Sept. 27 to Oct. 1, 2014, in New Orleans, in Booth 3738.
Highlighted at WEFTEC will be the new WatchDogMT multi-technology remote monitor, a new monitor from Sensaphone in partnership with Sentry Technologies, that provides cellular and satellite options with Modbus integration for up to 64 alarms that can be easily configured and programmed.
The WatchDogMT Modbus master polls slave devices and stores the information internally. The data is then available either locally via a USB stick or remotely. Data can be printed, graphed and exported for accurate historical records with unlimited storage capacities accessible from anywhere. When an alarm is detected an e-mail, phone call or text message can be sent based on preconfigured preferences.

For treatment operations that don't utilize a Modbus integrated system, Sensaphone is launching its Sentinel Ethernet cloud-based monitoring solution with cellular option. Many water and wastewater facilities face budget constraints and cuts that make it difficult to afford the initial investment in monitoring systems that will help them run their operations more efficiently.
The cloud-based Sentinel can help utilities limit the need for hardware and software purchases, installation and maintenance. The cloud-based service shifts the task of housing, maintaining and displaying data from the municipality to the service provider.
The Sentinel allows the user to manage an unlimited number of devices from one account, store an unlimited number of data logged records and monitor up to 12 different environmental conditions. If an alarm is detected you can receive an e-mail, phone call, text message or check status on the Web.
Sensaphone will also demonstrate its lineup of phone line monitoring options including:
- • Sensaphone 1800 that monitors up to eight external sensors including 4-20mA inputs; notifies up to eight people with a phone call and includes a NEMA4X enclosure and battery backup.
- • Sensaphone Express II that includes 8 inputs including 4-20mA inputs; expandable to 40 and notifies up to 48 people with phone calls and includes a NEMA4X enclosure and battery backup.
- • Sensaphone SCADA 3000 that comes with 16 inputs and 8 outputs, is expandable to 144 inputs and outputs, and can be programed in either Ladder or C and offers real time screen design software.
