Neptune, Fluid Dynamics to Exhibit at WEFTEC

Sept. 9, 2016
Products include metering pumps, polymer systems & more

Neptune, part of PSG, a Dover company, and Fluid Dynamics, a division of Neptune Chemical Pump Co., will be exhibiting in Booth 519 at the Annual Water Environment Federation Technical Exhibition and Conference (WEFTEC).

Neptune will exhibit its new Series MP7000 mechanically actuated diaphragm metering pump. Designed to be a low-flow version of the Neptune Series MP7100 metering pump, the Series MP7000 incorporates a variety of design features that provide reliable and accurate dosing of a range of mild to aggressive chemicals, including those used in industrial and municipal water and wastewater treatment.

The Series MP7000 pump incorporates the ruggedness of a hydraulic diaphragm metering pump, eliminates the need for intermediate fluid or hydraulic oil to actuate the diaphragm, and reduces the potential for gearbox oil to contaminate the process. Neptune Series MP7000 pumps feature capacities to 27 gph (102 lph) at operating pressures up to 235 psi (16 bar).

Neptune will also be featuring its PZ Series electronic diaphragm and Series 500 hydraulically actuated metering pumps. PZ Series are suitable for various product applications at flow rates from 0.01 to 20 gph. PZ pumps operate on a manual control that produces speeds ranging from 15 to 300 strokes per minute with a variety of liquid-end materials. In addition, the Series 500 pumps feature EZE-CLEAN valve cartridges that can be removed for cleaning without disturbing the piping to the pump. Series 500 pumps have capabilities to 100 gph (302 lph) simplex and 200 gph (605 lph) duplex. Series 500 pumps are offered with pressure capabilities up to 3,000 psi (210 KG/cm).

Neptune will also showcase its line of direct drive and gear drive portable mixers with electric, pneumatic or variable speed motors. Neptune will also be displaying a wide array of its custom system capabilities.

Fluid Dynamics will be highlighting its dynaBLEND Liquid Polymer Dilution/Feed System. The patented dynaBLEND technology has been designed to effectively activate all types of liquid polymers. The system features an injection check valve designed with easy disassembly and inspection in mind.

Fluid Dynamics will also be featuring a live demo unit of its dynaJET Dry Polymer Preparation System. The dynaJET technology is suitable for wastewater applications because it utilizes a negative-pressure pneumatic conveyance system to transport and disperse the dry polymer prior to wetting. Dispersing dry polymer prior to coming into contact with the dilution water assures effective polymer particle wetting. Effectively wetting each polymer particle prevents polymer agglomerations from occurring. The result is reduced mix and hydration times, higher polymer performance and lower chemical costs.
