Dewberry Promotes Kevin Wood

New vice president offers more than 33 years of experience

Dewberry, a privately held professional services firm, announced the promotion of Kevin Wood, P.E., to vice president in the firm’s Fairfax, Va., office.

As a water and wastewater engineer with more than 33 years of experience, Wood is responsible for overall project delivery for water services projects throughout the mid-Atlantic region. He leads a team of water professionals and manages various contracts for water, wastewater and water reuse projects.

Prior to joining Dewberry, Wood served as the director of engineering for Loudoun Water in Loudoun County, Va., where he managed the utility master planning, land development and capital improvement programs. Currently, he is serving as principal-in-charge, client manager, or program manager for various municipal utility clients in northern Virginia.

Wood earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in civil engineering from West Virginia University. He is a professional engineer in Virginia and a member of the American Water Works Assn. and the Water Environment Federation, where he served as president of the Virginia chapter from 2005 to 2006.
