Pentair to be Featured on Home Improvement Show

July 29, 2015
The program will highlight the company's wireless communication technology for water system monitoring

Pentair will be featured on the home improvement cable TV show “Designing Spaces” showcasing its new technology for homeowners. The segment, “Innovative Pumping Solutions for Today’s Homeowners,” is scheduled to air July 31 and Aug. 7 at 7:00 a.m. (ET/PT) on the Lifetime television network.

During the segment, Pentair Product Manager Taylor Crenshaw highlights Pentair’s Link2O, the company’s wireless communication technology that monitors connected water system devices and serves as a single source for constant information.

For example, Crenshaw discusses how the company’s variable frequency drive, known as Pentek Intellidrive, works with Link2O to provide homeowners with control over their home’s water pressure, helping reduce wear and tear caused by hard starts and stops. Crenshaw also talks about Pentair’s Myers Battery Backup Unit for sump pumps, which uses Link2O technology to send a text or e-mail to the homeowner when home power is lost or the home’s primary sump pump fails.

“Damage from a malfunctioning water system can be extensive and expensive,” Crenshaw said. “Our segment on ‘Designing Spaces’ helps to inform homeowners that whether they are at home, on vacation, at work, or anywhere else in the world, we have the products that allow them to communicate with and control their water system, and be confident that it is functioning correctly.”
