Company nominated for the Desalination Company of the Year Award
Doosan Hydro Technology has been nominated for the Desalination Company of the Year Award, a category of the Global Water Awards 2008.
In October 2005, Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction acquired the North American water treatment operations of American Engineering Services (AES). AES was formed in 1988 with their primary line of business as a reverse osmosis system supplier and contractor, designing, manufacturing and installing all types of water and wastewater systems. This acquisition established the U.S. subsidiary, Doosan Hydro Technology, in Tampa, Fla.
Since 2005, Doosan Hydro Technology has exceeded an annual employee growth rate in excess of 100% and has more than doubled the size of its corporate office, manufacturing and research and development facilities. Doosan has implemented new domestic and global strategies to better serve its clients and nurture long-term relationships with business partners.
The strength of the relationship between Doosan Hydro Technology and its parent company Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction allows Doosan Hydro Technology to bond high dollar projects, meet contractual agreements and exceed client expectations, providing total water solutions. As a result, Doosan Hydro Technology can provide clients a single source of design, manufacturing of equipment, plant construction, commissioning and operation for all types of water and wastewater treatment facilities.
“We are deeply honored to be nominated by our peers for this prestigious award and welcome your continued support. As we continue our double-and triple-digit growth, we look forward to building even stronger relationships with all of our clients and business partners in this thriving industry,” Chief Operating Officer Bob Randall said.
The Global Water Awards 2008 will be presented at a special ceremony during the upcoming IDA/Global Water Intelligence conference, Water, Finance & Sustainability 2008, in London, April 21-22.
