Doosan Hydro Technology has been nominated for the Desalination Company of the Year Award, a category of the Global Water Awards 2008.
In October 2005, Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction acquired the North American water treatment operations of American Engineering Services (AES). AES was formed in 1988 with their primary line of business as a reverse osmosis system supplier and contractor, designing, manufacturing and installing all types of water and wastewater systems. This acquisition established the U.S. subsidiary, Doosan Hydro Technology, in Tampa, Fla.
Since 2005, Doosan Hydro Technology has exceeded an annual employee growth rate in excess of 100% and has more than doubled the size of its corporate office, manufacturing and research and development facilities. Doosan has implemented new domestic and global strategies to better serve its clients and nurture long-term relationships with business partners.
