Desalination Short Course Planned for July in Singapore

Feb. 21, 2011
Global Water Intelligence and Singapore International Water Week collaborated to create event

Global Water Intelligence and Singapore International Water Week partnered to create Desalination Short School, a two-day training course. Desalination experts Tom Pankratz, editor of Water Desalination Report and John Tonner, principal at Water Consultants International, will lead the course at the Suntec International Convention Centre in Singapore on July 7 and 8.

Course curriculum is based on market research, and will include case studies that illustrate issues relevant at different stages of a desalination project. The instructors have direct experience with the case studies they will profile. Special guest Christopher Gasson, publisher of Global Water Intelligence, will give an analysis of the current desalination market, and forecast its growth through 2016.

The course also will include time for question-and-answer sessions, including a one-hour discussion on the second day. A plant tour followed by a networking event also is planned.

Registration is available online. Participants who register before March 31 will receive a discount on the registration fee.
