Burns & McDonnell Hires Wayne Haynie as Regional Water Practice Manager

Burns & McDonnell has hired Wayne Haynie, P.E., as Regional Water Practice Manager in the Atlanta office. 

Wayne brings extensive project management and operational experience for municipal and industrial clients in the water and wastewater industries. As the practice manager for water and wastewater projects across the region, he will build on 30 years of experience as an environmental design engineer, project manager and utility operations manager. In recent years he served as operations manager for a major Southeastern consulting firm, where he led multiple business units. He also has years of experience as a client service manager and has overseen staff training and development.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and is a registered professional engineer in Georgia. He serves in the Georgia Assn. of Water Professionals, the American Water Works Assn., and the Water Environment Federation.
