Black and Veatch Expands Global Support for Engineers Without Borders

Company donates funds, time and expertise for vital programs

Black and Veatch officials announced that the Building a World of Difference Foundation has donated more than $70,000 to support Engineers Without Borders programs throughout the world.

Company officials have collaborated with more than 30 engineering chapters across the U.S. and have supported efforts to bring vital infrastructure to communities worldwide.

Officials have recently teamed up with the UK chapter of the program to help lay the groundwork for opening up involvement to companies across the UK. They have also collaborated with a chapter in Mumbai, India, which was founded by company professionals.

Worldwide, Black and Veatch has donated more than $200,000 to the program since 2008 and has supported the efforts of more than 200 professionals who have worked on projects worldwide, including India, Honduras, Nicaragua, the Dominican Republic and El Salvador.
