Aquatech Awarded Contract for California Power Plant

Company will provide equipment for power station in Maxwell, Calif.

Aquatech Intl. Corp. has recently received an order from Gemma Power Systems for the Colusa Power Station in Maxwell, Calif.

Aquatech will design, manufacture and supply potable ultrafiltration, wastewater ultrafiltration, reverse osmosis and a wastewater forced circulation crystallizer. This equipment will receive surface water canal feed to generate 300 gal per minute (gpm) treated process water and treat 500 gpm generated wastewater to achieve zero liquid discharge.

The equipment is scheduled to be delivered in fall of 2009.

This 640 MW combined cycle power plant is owned by Pacific Gas & Electric.
