Aqua-Aerobic Systems recently held its first technical seminar of 2014 titled, “Effective Solutions to Biological Nutrient Removal” on May 22, where close to 50 potential customers and company representatives were in attendance.
Since the mid-1980s, Aqua-Aerobic has hosted monthly technical training seminars for water and wastewater professionals from around the world. Close to 5,000 engineers, consultants, plant managers, operations staff and owners have attended one or more of the company’s seminars. The primary purpose is to learn the design and application of water and wastewater technologies including aeration/mixing, biological processes, cloth media filtration, membrane systems and process controls.
An integral part of the Aqua-Aerobic seminar program, in addition to its technically focused presentations, is a tour of the company’s new Research and Technology Center—a partnership with the local wastewater reclamation district in Rockford, Ill. During the tour, attendees are introduced to full-scale technologies operating and treating actual wastewater from the treatment plant.
“Attending an Aqua-Aerobic technical seminar allows our guests to not only learn how to apply adaptive treatment technologies to their current or future projects, but also to experience our corporate culture, our employees, and our passion for exceptional customer service.” says Cheryl Kunz, director of marketing for Aqua-Aerobic Systems.
