Annual Aclara Conference to Unite Gas, Water and Electric Officials

Clients will gather in Tennessee this month to learn about new Aclara solutions

The annual Aclara Client Conference on May 9-12, 2011, at the Renaissance Hotel and Suites in Nashville, Tenn., will provide almost 650 attendees the opportunity to learn about new Aclara solutions for advanced gas, water and electric metering. Guests will also have the opportunity to network with peers and industry colleagues, and help drive Aclara’s product planning.

The central theme of the conference is “No Limits.” Retired Navy Capt. Charlie Plumb, a former prisoner of war in Vietnam, will offer the keynote address. Plumb uses the conference’s theme to encourage audiences to recognize the opportunities that surround them, no matter what the obstacles.

Each year, the conference provides up-to-date training to enhance technical and customer-service skills when using Aclara systems. Customers attending the conference also are briefed on upcoming enhancements products. Attendees provide feedback to Aclara and meet together to exchange best practices, share solutions to challenges and validate strategic directions.
