Zebra Skimmers Introduces Sump Level Regulator

Feb. 24, 2009
Regulator maintains tank fluid levels, reducing operator labor

Zebra Skimmers Corp., a manufacturer of oil skimmers and coolant maintenance equipment, recently introduced its Sump Level Regulator (SLR) to maintain tank fluid levels.

"Given the costs of labor in this economic climate, it is important to decrease the amount of time spent on maintenance and redirect it to productive tasks. We find it important to develop cost-saving equipment to reduce labor as well as material expenses. The SLR will do so by activating the customer's water supply or fluid pump to maintain the correct fluid operating level in each machine tool sump or central tank, thereby limiting time otherwise spent by the operator," said Meg Grant, sales and service manager.
