Xylem Customers Can Win One of Six Pumps at Bauma Show

Flygt Ready 4L dewatering pumps were released last year

Xylem Inc., a global water technology company dedicated to solving the world’s most challenging water issues, has launched a random draw giving customers the opportunity to win a Flygt Ready 4L dewatering pump every day at the Bauma trade show in Munich, Germany, which runs from April 11 to 17, 2016. Xylem customers are invited to attend the event and visit the Xylem booth (Hall A6, booth no. 446) where they will have the opportunity to enter a daily draw to win one of six pumps.

Patrick Tantum, senior business development manager with Xylem’s dewatering business said, “We are giving our valued customers the chance to win a number of our extremely popular Flygt Ready 4L dewatering pumps. Ready 4L was launched on the market last year and is designed for on-the-spot water removal, pumping an area down to 1 to 2 mm in a minimum amount of time due to high-flow performance. It an ideal solution for flood cleaning operations—for example, removing water from basements and emptying tanks. It is also a reliable and long-lasting pump crafted from durable, quality materials.

“The design and features of Flygt Ready 4L are similar to what you would expect from larger, more expensive pumps. While alternative low-suction pumps can burn out very quickly—some not even lasting a weekend of pumping on a construction site—our Ready 4L will keep pumping again and again,” continued Tantum. “It can ‘snore’ for long periods of time due to its cooling capabilities including a thermal coating that protects the pump from over-heating. The entire Flygt Ready range is a quality dewatering option—robust pumps designed to withstand tough jobs so that they can be used repeatedly year after year.”

The Ready range, including the new 4L model, is designed so that they can be easily serviced, helping to make them a lifelong pump. The compact Ready 4L can be easily stored in service vehicles for quick emergency response and can work where other pumps simply won’t fit. Manufactured from lightweight aluminum, the Ready 4L can be easily carried from site to site.

The smallest of Xylem’s Flygt electric, submersible dewatering pumps, the Ready range is built to withstand tough jobsite use, easily removing contaminated water and water containing sand or gravel.

“We’re very much looking forward to meeting our customers at Bauma and finding six new homes for our Ready 4L pumps!” said Tantum. “It is a very popular pump so we are expecting a lot of interest in the opportunity.”

A random draw to choose a winner of a Flygt Ready 4L pump will take place each day from Monday, April 11 to Saturday, April 16, inclusive. Winners will be announced before the end of the show each day.
