West Yost Associates Adds Operations Manager

Jim Strandberg has joined the company as operations manager for the Groundwater Discipline Group

Jim Strandberg, PG, CHG, joins West Yost Associates as operations manager for West Yost’s Groundwater Discipline Group. West Yost provides planning, design, construction management, and environmental services for water, groundwater, recycled water, wastewater and storm water projects in California and Oregon.

With more than 30 years of experience, Strandberg is an expert in strategic, regulatory and technical consulting among private- and public-sector clients seeking groundwater development and management strategies. His knowledge of groundwater quality, well design and construction, groundwater modeling for remediation and supply and associated regulations will benefit West Yost’s clients.

Strandberg is a director and former president of the Groundwater Resources Assn. of California, and is currently serving on the Groundwater Committee of the Assn. of California Water Agencies. Jim earned a Bachelor of Science degree in geology from the University of California, Davis, and a Master of Science degree in civil engineering with a specialization in water resources from Stanford University.
