Moore Industries Names CEO

Scott Saunders has been named CEO of Moore Industries-Intl. Inc.

Scott Saunders has been named CEO of Moore Industries-Intl. Inc., a manufacturer of instrumentation for the process control industry. Effective July 15, 2014, he reports to Leonard W. Moore, who remains the chairman of the board of directors of the company he founded in 1968.

In his previous role as COO of Moore Industries, Saunders was instrumental in the daily operational planning and management responsibilities of the company, ensuring that its strategic direction and goals were met. He also continued in his role as vice president, sales and marketing, where he managed the company’s overseas operations along with directing marketing efforts and overseeing the sales force.

“I am both honored and humbled about my new position with the company,” Saunders said. “We have a great team of employees at Moore Industries and I am excited about the opportunity to further grow the company’s long established position of providing the most rugged and reliable industrial instrumentation in the industry.”

Saunders joined Moore Industries in 1999 as a regional sales manager before taking on roles as national sales manager and director of strategic marketing. He holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in business administration from Winthrop University in South Carolina.

“Scott’s vision and guidance has helped our company maintain success in difficult economic times,” Moore said. “With his leadership, Moore Industries is poised for growth in new territories in the coming years.”
