Mazzei Names Vice President of Sales & Marketing

Jim Lauria will replace Paul Overbeck, who is retiring

Mazzei Injector Co. LLC announced the addition of Jim Lauria as vice president of sales and marketing.

Lauria has been in the water and wastewater industry for more than 15 years and has had articles published in water industry publications worldwide. He holds a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering degree from Manhattan College.

“Mazzei’s emphasis on R&D and in-house computational fluid dynamics (CFD) modeling is what convinced me that this company was the perfect fit,” Lauria said. “Mazzei is solving complex water and wastewater issues, and my goal is to have Mazzei’s fluid technology utilized by water and wastewater experts throughout the world. Mazzei is known for its inventiveness, high-quality products and exemplary customer service.I am looking forward to being a part of their team.”

Lauria will be replacing Paul Overbeck who is retiring. Overbeck rejoined Mazzei in 2012, bringing years of water and wastewater process technologies experience, which included his leadership of the International Ozone Assn. and his involvement in the development of Mazzei’s GDT process. To assure a smooth transition, Overbeck will remain with the company until June 2015 and then transition to a consulting role.
