WEFTEC.11 Recap
Neda Simeonova

Thousands of water professionals traveled to Los Angeles last week to attend the 84th Annual Water Environment Federation Technical Exhibition and Conference (WEFTEC).

The event welcomed 923 exhibitors featuring the latest technology trends, and was packed-full of various technical sessions, workshops and Operations Challenges.

Strong technology and educational focuses at this year's event included: emerging contaminants, water reuse and conservation, energy management and renewable energy options, storm water management, and various other timely topics.

The editorial staff of Water & Wastes Digest was happy to see many familiar faces and meet new ones. We look forward to seeing you again next year in New Orleans for WEFTEC.12, taking place at the New Orleans Morial Convention Center, Sept. 29 to Oct. 3.
