Water Treatment Professionals Gather in Baltimore This Week

March 15, 2004

The Water Quality Association's 30th Annual Convention and Exhibition's seminars (Baltimore, March 16—20) all start off on Wednesday morning with the seminar, "Route Management and Efficiency." You’ll learn how to drive up your profits with computer technology and increase route efficiency with add-on business such as drinking water and office coffee service.

Following immediately is a course, "Generating and Managing New Leads." Not only will you hear about new ideas for lead generation, you’ll also get the latest legal situation on government rules for faxing and calling customers.

Of course, a session key to developing a strategic plan for business is the Wednesday afternoon, "State of the Industry Report to Members." You’ll hear about the major forces and technologies shaping the industry and future.

The two-day exhibition format with no opposing meetings or seminars introduced at the 2003 Las Vegas Convention worked very well–and this year’s show will feature the same format. Both exhibitors and attendees can concentrate on quality exhibition time without distraction; that means more booth visitors on both Thursday and Friday.

Attendees also will be able to take advantage of show-only specials and sales and explanations of new and existing products.

Demonstrations are a key element in trade show strategy and this year nine are scheduled across the two days. These demonstrations are a great way to find out about a product.

Preregistration turned up more than 207 companies that will be featuring their latest technologies and products designed for the dealer. More than 1,700 registrations already have been calculated with many more expected for onsite registration.

This week promises lots of business activity for both vendors and attendees that make the trek to "Charm City."
