The event will now be held at the New China International Exhibition Center in Beijing

Beginning in 2015, Water Expo China, China’s first water business exhibition, will take place from Nov. 18 to 20 at the New China International Exhibition Center (NCIEC) in Beijing.

Approved by the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China, the show will be organized by Messe Frankfurt (Shanghai) Co. Ltd. and the Chinese Hydraulic Engineering Society. The three-day event covers 25,000 sq meters of exhibition space, and is expected to welcome more than 500 exhibitors, 35,000 visitors and 60 buyer delegations.

“Water Expo China is highly regarded by industry professionals and this sentiment is reflected in the number of exhibitors and visitors that attended the 2014 show,” said Jason Cao, chairman of the board of management for Messe Frankfurt (Shanghai) Co. Ltd. “We had 320 exhibitors from 24 countries and regions, as well as 24,408 visitors from 40 countries and regions, including 50 domestic and international delegations.”

NCIEC is one of the Beijing’s landmarks. The fairground consists of 16 halls spanning a total area of 200,000 sq meters. It has hosted exhibitions, trade events, seminars and conferences. It is located 15 kilometers from the Beijing International Airport and near public transportation. Line 15 of the Beijing Metro connects the NCIEC to the city centre and various tourist attractions.

A number of international exhibitors and pavilions have confirmed their participation in the 2015 show, such as the Korean Pavilion, which will return with a larger area than last year.

Domestic water-related organizations have also exhibited similar levels of enthusiasm towards the fair. The Shandong Pavilion has confirmed its participation in 2015 again and will feature companies such as Jinan Anjier Co. Ltd.
