Hydro International's Reg-U-Flo Vortex Valve is a passive device that can be used to control the discharge rate from storm water detention systems, control the rate of flow into a storm water or combined sewer system, capture floatable debris and dissipate the energy of stormwater flows for erosion control. Three series of Reg-U-Flo Vortex Valves are available to suit various applications and design constraints. Typical chamber configurations include wall mounted, floor mounted and pipe mounted. The Reg-U-Flo Vortex Valve can be installed in existing catch basins with minimal disruption and significantly lower cost as compared to the conventional solution of sewer replacement.
