U.S. Water Prize Program Winners Webinar Series: Clean Water Webinar

This webinar will take place Nov. 17, 2011, from 3 to 4 p.m.

Sponsored by the Clean Water America Alliance, the United States Water Prize Program seeks to honor any United States-based institution, organization or individual whose project or initiative represents effective innovation in ensuring water sustainability by advancing holistic, watershed-based approaches to water quality and quantity challenges.

Initiatives may be in the following topic areas: education, public awareness, research, technology, water resource management or policy development. The alliance awarded five United States Water Prizes in 2011 and believes the award program will encourage and inspire continued innovation in the clean water arena.

The second webinar in the Water & Wastes Digest/CleanWater America Alliance series, this program will recognize the National Great Rivers Research & Education Center, and the Milwaukee Water Council. An Aug. 31 webinar featured the city of Los Angeles.
