San Francisco-based company expands to southeastern U.S.
URS Corp. president, Gary V. Jandegian, announced Monday the company’s acquisition of South Carolina-based BP Barber, a private civil engineering firm specializing in water and wastewater infrastructures. From its headquarters in California, the company offers engineering, construction and technical services for public agencies and private sectors. The acquisition amasses the company approximately 150 professionals and expands its presence to the southeastern United States, primarily in South Carolina, North Carolina and Georgia.
“We are very pleased to have BP Barber join URS,” Jandegian said. “BP Barber adds technical expertise and highly skilled resources to expand our service offerings to public and private sector clients.”
