State of Industry: Preliminary Results

The preliminary results of Water & Wastes Digest’s 2013 State of the Industry report are in and more than seven in 10 respondents (71%) rated this year good or better for their business compared with 2012. Surveyed respondents are even more optimistic for next year—with 76% expecting it to be good or better, and 28% stating it will be very good to excellent year for business.

Almost one-third (32%) of respondents reported an increase in revenue this year compared with 2012. Almost half (46%) are expecting an increase in revenue next year over 2013 numbers.

The December Water & Wastes Digest issue will highlight final 2013 State of the Industry findings, including key industry concerns and where respondents’ budgets will be invested over the next 24 months.
