How Low Can You Go? - Low Pressure Membrane Systems will be held Feb. 23 to 26 in Costa Mesa, Calif.

The Southwest Membrane Operator Association (SWMOA) is hosting the 2009 Annual Symposium – How Low Can You Go? – Low Pressure Membrane Systems, Feb. 23 to 26, 2009 at the Hilton Hotel Orange County in Costa Mesa, Calif.

Attendees will learn about MF/UF basics, MBR basics, RO/NF basics, data normalization, pretreament applications, membrane integrity testing, enhancing recovery of MF/UF systems, membrane operations and maintenance and operator tips.

The workshop will feature the Ground Water Replenishment System - Advanced Water Purification Facility with an overview of the facility followed by a facility tour and hands-on training at the facility covering: membrane probing, cartridge filters, and MF pinning/module integrity. The workshop will also highlight several case histories from the city of Ventura, city of Scottsdale, Eastern Municipal Water District and surface water pretreatment for hollow fiber UF at a vineyard.
