Cityworks Community Connects at Regional User Group Meetings

Nov. 18, 2015
Sixteen meetings will be held in the U.S. between September 2015 and July 2016

Cityworks announced that attendance at the 2015–2016 Cityworks Regional User Group (RUG) meetings has exceeded expectations, surpassing previous years. From September 2015 through July 2016, 16 Cityworks RUG meetings are being held throughout the U.S., with two more in Canada and one in Sweden. Cityworks is expecting nearly 1,000 in attendance for the series of events.

Cityworks RUG meetings are designed to help organizations and individual users maximize their investment and extend their Cityworks implementation with minimal travel impact. Attendees will join Cityworks staff and peers in their area to discuss the platform, mobile initiatives, analytics and cloud-based solutions for Cityworks. Discussions and demos show how to achieve success in mobility, extensibility and accountability with the company and its business partners. For example, when examining mobility, staff demonstrates the field, mobile and iOS/Android solutions. They also discuss how the company's partners have developed mobile solutions that incorporate Cityworks. In addition, users are invited to give presentations addressing a specific area of focus at each event.

"The RUG meetings give us the unique opportunity to share time with our clients and partners in the familiar surroundings in which they live,” said Wayne Hill, vice president of client relations. “These events are a fundamental part of the high level of customer service we provide. From Michigan to Texas, and from California to South Carolina, we’ll be hosting RUG meetings from September 2015 to July 2016.  In addition, we’ll be cohosting RUG meetings with our international distribution partners, Esri Canada in Canada and, for the first time in Sweden with Esri Sverige."
