Siemens Water Technologies Introduces New Generation of Basic Chemical Pool and Spa Controllers

March 22, 2006

The Water Technologies Division of Siemens Industrial and Service (I) Group announced the release of its 2006 Strantrol System3 controller. The controller features a multiple line display for intuitive menu navigation. Utilizing High Resolution Redox technology, the Strantrol System3 controller directly measures the rate of oxidation in pool water regardless of the pH, temperature and bather load, feeding only the exact amount of chemicals needed. This continuous monitoring and control results in pool water that is clear, non-irritating and safe.

The Strantrol System3i is ideal for hospitality and clubs industries by eliminating guests' complaints and health concerns about eyeburn, chemical odor, and pool water quality due to peaks and valleys in chlorine and pH levels. 2006 upgrades on the Strantrol System3i include communication capabilities, data logging, numeric security password protection, delay for chemical feed after a “no-flow” condition, separate alarm light for failsafe condition, and optional control of salt generators and other secondary chemical applications.
