Severn Trent Services Awarded Contract for Desalination Plant in Mexico

Severn Trent Services has been selected to design and build a desalination plant for the Maravia Country Club Estates in La Paz, Baja California Sur, Mexico. The work will be performed by the Severn Trent Services office in Torrance, Calif., which supports the UAT line of membrane filtration systems.

Maravia Country Club Estates conducted a comprehensive evaluation of competitive bids for a 1 million gal-per-day desalination plant. Maravia executives and their professional advisors were impressed with Severn Trent's innovative solutions and world class service in addition to their commitment to protect the environment. The facility will be the largest desalination plant in La Paz, Mexico's fourth largest municipality.
