Severn Trent Services Appoints Dennis Bitter as North American Sales Manager for Arsenic Treatment P

Severn Trent Services has appointed Dennis Bitter as North American sales manager for Severn Trent Water Purification’s arsenic treatment products. In this assignment, Bitter is responsible for all North American arsenic solutions sales channels including manufacturing representatives and strategic partners.

Previously, Bitter was Southwest regional arsenic sales manager for Severn Trent Water Purification. He earned an undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois and holds a master’s degree in business administration.

Concurrently, Severn Trent Services announced the appointment of Steven Wood as Southwest regional arsenic sales manager for Severn Trent Water Purification. In this role, Wood is responsible for cultivating opportunities for arsenic systems and media sales through relationships with consulting engineers, contractors and the company’s manufacturer’s representatives throughout the region. He is based in Carmel Valley, Calif.

Prior to joining Severn Trent Services, Wood had sales management experience in both the water and wastewater industries, including many years with Calgon Carbon Corporation. He earned a B.S. degree from California State Polytechnic University. Severn Trent Services is a worldwide leader in the development of arsenic removal technologies. The company developed the SORB 33 ® process to reduce arsenic contamination across a range of water treatment system sizes, and the technology has been commercially proven to effectively and economically reduce arsenic below 3 ppb. Bayoxide ® E33 and Bayoxide ® E33P are dry, robust ferric oxide media designed for arsenic removal, providing long operating cycles and low operating costs.
