Itron Utility Week is a customer-focused event providing utilities with the opportunity to learn from and collaborate with Itron employees, partners and industry leaders to drive better management of energy and water resources. This year’s conference, Oct. 17 to 24, 2014 at the JW Marriott San Antonio, is focused on how utilities are being resourceful to improve their organizations and the communities they live in, every day.
With more than 90% of utility executives stating that the industry needs transformation, the utility industry is at a crossroads, requiring innovative technologies and new ways of thinking. Utilities need to engage consumers in a meaningful way, optimize limited gas, water and electric resources and build smarter cities.
Itron Utility Week addresses the important issues facing the industry and provides networking opportunities with utilities who face similar issues every day. Utilities will learn examples of resourcefulness in action from utilities around the globe.
The Knowledge Conference is the main event at Itron Utility Week and features a Knowledge Center with Itron’s solutions, 140 breakout learning sessions, two keynotes and networking opportunities with industry peers. Many visitors also attend pre- or post-conference training sessions.
