Registration for First AWWA Symposium Showcase Now Open

Feb. 15, 2011
Water Conservation and Resources Symposiums will be co-located for the first time

Registration is now open for the American Water Works Assn.’s (AWWA) 2011 Symposium Showcase, to be held March 14 to 16 in Orlando, Fla.

This co-located event will host both the Water Resources Symposium and the Water Conservation Symposium. Each of the symposiums will offer distinct content, while the co-location will provide attendees with the opportunity to attend and learn from both.

The Water Resources Symposium will address science-based management issues, water and energy sustainability practices, new tools for adapting to climate change and water policy, laws and regulations.

The Water Conservation Symposium will focus on the planning and implementation of optimal water conservation programs, the financial impact they have on utilities and public outreach approaches to gain community buy-in.
