Pump Solutions Group Earns Silver at PR World Awards
The company earned its award in the “Hybrid Team of the Year” category for the work it did with its marketing-communications partner, DeanHouston Inc.
Pump Solutions Group (PSG) has been selected as a recipient of a Silver Award in the annual PR World Awards program.
The 2014 PR World Awards program encompasses the world’s best in organizational performance, innovations, products and services, executives and management teams, public relations and marketing campaigns, and customer-satisfaction programs from every major industry in the world. The various winners were honored at the PR World Awards banquet on June 23, 2014 in San Francisco.
PSG earned its award in the “Hybrid Team of the Year” category for the collaborative work it did with its marketing-communications partner, DeanHouston Inc., Cincinnati, on the product-launch campaign for the new Wilden Pro-Flo SHIFT air-operated double-diaphragm pump. The Pro-Flo SHIFT was introduced to the industrial-pump market in June 2013 by PSG from its manufacturing facility in Grand Terrace, Calif.
“We are thrilled that our collaborative efforts in introducing this product, which encompassed several months of hard and intensive work, have paid off with significant sales and receiving this prestigious PR World Award,” said Walter Bonnett, Vice President of Global Marketing for PSG.
Held June 18, 2013, the launch included a live webinar that featured several side-by-side tests with competitive brands that illustrated the Pro-Flo SHIFT’s ability to optimize air consumption while maximizing product yields. Other components of the launch campaign included a full suite of web tools, testimonial videos and sales collateral, as well as a comprehensive publicity campaign that is still in full swing in 2014.
