Commonwealth of Independent States becomes major focus

This contract will be the basis for a strategic partnership with Vacuummash, a vacuum pump and systems supplier in Russia, and will facilitate the access to the CIS.
"By signing these agreements, the cooperation of the last 20 years has now been ratified in due form, stabilizing the grown relationship of trust. We are convinced that this is the right way of implementing our growth strategy in this region," said Dr. Martin Füllenbach, CEO of Oerlikon Leybold Vacuum GmbH.
The Joint Stock Co., JSC Vacuumash, is a vacuum technology company in Russia and the largest manufacturer of vacuum systems in the region holding a market share of around 30%. The company, which was founded in 1943 and has been in the vacuum business for more than 50 years, has more than 400 employees in Russia and the neighboring CIS countries.
