Andreas Schmidt Joins NETZSCH Pumps North America

New regional sales manager brings experience in municipal wastewater industry

NETZSCH Pumps North America LLC of Exton, Pa., has expanded its sales force by hiring Andreas Schmidt as the regional sales manager for the Western Region. He is responsible for supporting industrial and municipal distributors in California, Arizona, Hawaii, New Mexico and southern Nevada. Schmidt is based in Utah.

Schmidt has experience in the municipal wastewater industry. In the past 16 years, he has worked in the pump industry, and from his functions as inside sales engineer, regional sales manager Middle East, product engineer and North American sales manager, he brings considerable field experience.

NETZSCH manufactures progressing cavity pumps, rotary lobe pumps, and multiple screw pumps, macerators, dosing systems and accessories. NETZSCH provides pumps and systems to industrial and municipal markets globally and is committed to business growth beyond market levels.
