PSG Shanghai Opens New Manufacturing Facility in Lingang

New facility includes pump manufacturing, a hydraulic lab & product showroom

Pump Solutions Group (PSG), a business unit within Dover Corp. announced that it opened a new manufacturing facility in Shanghai, China, on Nov. 1, 2012. The 11,000-sq-meter facility, located in the Shanghai suburb of Lingang, re-affirms PSG’s commitment to the Chinese and Asia-Pacific markets.

“Helping our customers optimize their operations is a top priority for PSG Shanghai and this new manufacturing facility will go a long way toward streamlining their operations in terms of pump supply and delivery, distributor and end-user training, the availability of hands-on technical expertise and improved customer service and after-sale support—all in the same time zone,” said Dave Wang, vice president of sales and business development, Asia-Pacific.

The state-of-the-art facility includes pump manufacturing and testing, a hydraulic lab for on-site product testing, a 30-seat training room for instruction and education and a product showroom where visitors can observe how PSG Shanghai products are manufactured and operate. Benefits to PSG’s customers in China and Asia-Pacific will include local technical experience, improved customer service response, enhanced training opportunities, as well as reduced delivery times.
