Polychem Systems Completes NSF/ANSI Standard 61 Certification

Polychem Systems, Div. of Brentwood Industries, a supplier of 100% nonmetallic chain and flight sludge collector systems, has announced the completion of NSF/ANSI Standard 61 certification.

NSF Standard 61 is the nationally recognized health effects standard for devices, components and materials which contact drinking water. The standard addresses crucial aspects of drinking water system components, indirect additive products and materials, products, components and materials. When a material is certified under Standard 61, its certification indicates use restrictions on parameters such as maximum use temperature or surface area to volume ratio when the material is used in a finished product.
