Matt Resler
Trelleborg appointed Matt Resler as key account manager for plastic pipe seals and promoted Tim Sparrow to sales director for the North American region. The company strengthened its team in response to increasing demand for its pipe sealing solutions. With further robust growth plans set for the year ahead, Trelleborg is well placed to advise and support its customers and prospects on how to deliver a leak-free, hassle-free pipeline network.
Resler, who joins from The Marvel Group, brings more than 15 years of sales management experience and an excellent track record in hunting and growing new markets nationally. Based in Chicago, he will be responsible for driving new business growth and nurturing relationships with existing customers for the company’s plastic pipe seals.
Tim Sparrow
Sparrow joined Trelleborg 12 months ago as head of sales for the pipe rehabilitation division, with more than 10 years of sales management and leadership experience in the construction materials industry. He previously worked at Hilti Inc., where he led a sales team of more than 100 personnel to large revenue growth two years in a row at the company’s largest trade event. In his new role, Sparrow will be responsible for sales of all pipe seal products in North America.
“To support municipalities and contractors as they look to grow and extend the life of existing pipelines, we have built a formidable team of local ‘feet on the ground’, technically-trained professionals armed with an industry leading portfolio of pipe seals,” said Simon Burke, business unit president, Trelleborg’s pipe seals operation. “Both Matt and Tim have a wealth of experience in building strong relationships and injecting growth, and we are delighted to have them on board. Tim has already demonstrated his ability to lead the repair sales team, training personnel to respond to customer needs even better. With the addition of Matt, we now have a solid base for growth, and to support our customers and guide them towards the most optimal solution for their needs.”
