Pacific Ozone Technology Announces New President

Nov. 1, 2006

Pacific Ozone Technology announced the hiring of Chris Rombach as president. Rombach comes to Pacific Ozone’s Benicia headquarters from Stedim Biosystems, Inc., a manufacturer of bioprocessing equipment, where he held the position of president for eight years. At Stedim, Rombach oversaw the growth and global expansion of innovative processing products in the biotech industry and is excited about similar growth opportunities in the rapidly developing ozone industry.

“We’re excited to have Chris on board. It took a while to recruit Chris, but it has become clear that the developing ozone markets have growth potential comparable to the successful industries he comes from,” said Brian Johnson, owner and CEO of Pacific Ozone Technology. “We’re lucky to have Chris because he has the experience, leadership and proven track record to choose to go anywhere, and he picked Pacific Ozone.

“What’s exciting is being involved in the burgeoning ozone industry, as it’s clearly a market for exponential growth,” Rombach said. “Coming to a small company with such great technology like Pacific Ozone is a great opportunity for me.”

Rombach is no stranger to the water treatment industry, having served eight years as a product manager at the largest distributor for Pall Corp., manufacturer of filtration and separation equipment. Rombach appreciates the opportunity to develop clean technology that is safe and efficacious, providing alternative ways for industry leaders and innovators to utilize and protect their water resources and ensure customer safety.

“I’m proud to be in an industry that can make a positive difference in a lot of people’s lives,” Rombach said.
