Thousands of water professionals arrived in New Orleans this week for the Water Environment Federation's 85th Annual Technical Exhibition and Conference.

The show offers attendees an abundance of networking opportunities and the chance to learn about the latest technologies and applications in the field.

WEFTEC.12 kicks off today with a keynote presentation by Jim Carroll, a trend and innovation expert, who will discuss the future of WEF's new strategic direction and how water quality professionals can succeed through innovation and creativity.

The editorial staff of Water & Wastes Digest will be your eyes and ears at the show this week, and we'll be sure to report on interesting show happenings via our social media channels and on www.wwdmag.com.
