News and Notes From Israel

Aug. 16, 2011

Last week I traveled to Israel as part of the Water and Energy Environmental USA Press Tour.

During my trip I had the opportunity to tour the Hadera RO Desalination Plant, the largest of its kind in
the world—definitely the highlight of my trip.
Other highlights included: a tour of the Weizemann Institute, a leading multidisciplinary research
institution; a meeting with Jerusalem’s Hagihon Water Utility and some of its solution providers; and
several manufacturers that serve the water and wastewater industry in Israel and abroad.
All in all, this international visit was very informative. Here are some photo highlights from my site visits: http://
