Officials meet at Washington summit this week to change the conversation about water infrastructure, advance improvement agenda

A diverse group of stakeholder organizations, including The Chamber of Commerce and the American Society of Civil Engineers, partnered this week in sponsoring an infrastructure summit: “Changing the Conversation: Advancing a National Infrastructure Improvement Agenda.”

The summit, held yesterday and today in the nation's capital, is bringing together infrastructure community experts to build momentum towards developing a national consensus on the need to improve failing transportation and water infrastructure.

“Sustainable, safe and reliable water service is the lifeblood of every community,” Executive Director of the National Association of Water Co. said. “These robust discussions afford us a tremendous opportunity to start and continue a frank dialogue to identify essential investments that would improve America’s crumbling infrastructure woes.”
