NATCO Group Inc. has announced its second acquisition this year -- the purchase
of Houston-based Modular Production Equipment, Inc. (MPE) by its subsidiary
National Tank Company (NATCO). MPE designs, engineers, and manufactures produced
water treatment separation systems and specializes in hydrocyclone technologies,
and NATCO Group Inc. is a leading provider of wellhead process equipment used in
the production of oil and gas.
"The addition of MPE's produced water treatment technology and expertise
allows NATCO Group to offer producers the most advanced and complete turnkey
process solutions in the industry," said NATCO Group president Patrick
