March 23 event will review a draft strategic plan

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced it will host a webinar to review a draft strategic plan that identifies roles and responsibilities for EPA, states and public water systems under the new requirements of the Water Infrastructure Improvements for the Nation (WIIN) Act. The webinar will be held March 23, 2017, 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. EST.

WIIN requires EPA to develop a strategic plan within 180 days that describes how the administrator, states and the public water systems will work together to provide public education to populations affected by lead. EPA encourages all states, public water systems and interested stakeholders to participate in the webinar.
